Singapore

With our Australian adventures drawing to an end we started feeling a little bit of sorrow. That meant we were soon to go home. However we still had one last chance to squeeze out the last few drops of fun and excitement from our three months long voyage.

We returned to Singapore where we had fond memories of the beginning of the trip when Tatatiti was with us. We saw familiar names and places and almost felt we had old habits here.

First day, right off the bat we went to meet Loveena and her family on Sentosa island. We had a great time with them and afterwards went to do some luge.

After that we went to the Singapore Flyer where we could enjoy the night skyline of the city from more than 100m above.

And finally we went to Song Fa, a restaurant we wanted to revisit after our first trip.

The next day we slept in and after the girls went to the swimming pool we checked out and headed to Chinatown for yet another culinary treat. We had fried rice, soup, dumplings and a duck rice. We washed it all down with a cold beer. As a desert we had a coconut pancake. LOVED IT!

Then we visited the art and science where the girls enjoyed some fun activities including a very nice exhibition on Alice in Wonderland.

We were finally ready to get our stuff and head to Loveena's place who had very generously offered to have us at her home and drive us to the airport.

We enjoyed a nice dinner and great company before finally heading to the airport and home...
